I'm able to set up a Nexus Trace Window of RAM using JTAG to configure Nexus. I want to get FlexCAN messages to come through the Nexus Trace or at least the Nexus port while still getting a configured Nexus Trace Window.

About which debugger device are you talking?
Because in memory dump you can see the message buffers.
