I recently reinstalled MCUXpresso and now when I attempt to debug a target, it is asking me to register the PE Micro plugin.  When I enter my email address I get the error "Could not register, please check your Internet connection. HTTP Status: 302" (screenshot attached).

My internet is fine.  I removed my antivirus software with the same result.  I attempted to connected to my internet such that I was bypassing our company firewall, with the same result.

Any idea how to get past this?

Hi @justusandjustic,

that registration is optional and has no effect (except removing that register dialog in the launch config). So you don't have to do it.

As for the problem: I think it is an issue in the P&E plugin version you are using. For example I did upgrade my MCUXpresso IDE 11.5.1 to the latest one with the menu Help > Check for updates.

Then upgraded to the latest version:

After that, I was able to successfully register with P&E.

I hope this helps,

Erich

I updated my plugin as you suggested and was able to register successfully.

Thanks, Erich!

Hello Josiah,

Which version do you used? There is no register with newest version 11.5:

Download from:

https://www.nxp.com/design/software/development-software/mcuxpresso-software-and-tools-/mcuxpresso-i...

And also, it seems IDE can also work even though ignore the register.
