Does MCUXpresso work with Keil ULINK2 debug probe?

We are using MCUXpresso v 10.2.1 with the MIMXRT1050-EVK board. We are trying to use a Keil ULINK2 probe connected to the JTAG/SW port J21. The Keil probe has firmware version 2.1 which is supposed to boot up as a CMSIS-DAP compliant probe however the MCUXpresso IDE does not detect the probe? Should this configuration work with the IDE?

Hi Michael,

MCUXpresso can support ulink2. I tested on MCUXpresso 10.3 and it works fine. So I think you can try to use MCUXprsso 10.3 and don't forget to remove J32,J33,J29 th isolate on board openSDA.

We were able to get it to work.  Is there a document that mentions removing J33,J32 and J29 or is that just garnered from looking at the schematic?
