I see that the development board for the LX2160CA72232B is BLBX3-T2, not LX2160A RDB.
Can I use the LX2160CA72232B to replace the LX2160XN72232B in the original solution without changing the firmware and software? Are there any other differences between these two chips besides AEC-Q100?
Hello,
You can refer to the datasheet, Table 130. Part numbering nomenclature.
for example:
Automotive part numbering nomenclature
LX2160CA72232B -> A = SEC disabled, CAN-FD enabled.
Industrial part numbering nomenclature
LX2160XN72232B -> N = SEC disabled, CAN 2.0b enabled (no CAN-FD support)
Thanks. Can I directly follow LSDKUG to develop LX2160CA72232B? It also has LX2160A V2.0 Die inside?
Yes, letter B at the end means: B = Rev 2.0
