Hi friend,

I have a FRDM-KW38 evalution board. I measured both SPI and J3 pin 2 and 4 voltage to be 1.8V. How to change them and the MCU operating voltage to 3V or 3.3V?

Thank you in advance.

Ted Wu

Hello @tedwu1

Hope you are doing well.

To achieve 3V, you may need to make some hardware modifications to your board. This may involve changing DCDC configuration (Power configuration) from Buck mode (default) to Bypass mode.

For more information on this, please refer to the FRDM-KW38 Schematics (included in the Hardware design files that can be downloaded from the FRDM-KW38 webpage, Design Resources section), Sheet 3, Power Configuration section.

Regards,
Eduardo.
