i am trying to use K20 on FRDM-KL25Z board, by removing it from the board and make my custom board with k20.
i haven't removed it yet...just trying to programme it on board first.
i tried programming K20(j8 SWD on kl25z board) with USBDM and CW but getting the error "Device is permanently secure(Mass Erase is disabled)".
Is it possible to use K20 on FRDM-KL25Z board for my custom board...??

The K20 on the FRDM-KL25Z is secured with mass erase disabled, see https://mcuoneclipse.com/2012/09/20/opensda-on-the-freedom-kl25z-board/, so you cannot use it.

If you want to 'recycle' a K20, you have to take ti from a OpenSDA v2.x board, see https://mcuoneclipse.com/2016/06/26/how-to-recover-the-opensda-v2-x-bootloader/

I hope this helps,

Erich
