If you read Communication Driver article you may have noticed that the the stand-alone package available on the FreeMASTER download page implements version 2.0 of the communication protocol.
- Why this video still uses an older version ?
- The latest version is relatively new, and not all platform have updated support.
- S32 Design Studio and Model-Based Design Toolbox still use previous version of the driver.
The host application is fully backward compatible and supports both versions of the communication protocol.
