FORMAT DESFIRE EV1

Hello, i can't format my desfair ev1 card, after authentication in app 00 (root) i send format command and recive next answer: f2 01 after which I can not use the card. How right format the card? I trying send cmd.Format + MAC(4 byte) + CRC16, and recive error 0x7E.

Hello All,

I have the identical problem.   

Cards are overseas sourced and using MF3ICD41 ( so they say, but as per NXPs Tag info app.  ).

A few also came from a source at Amazon.com.  Card are only good for CSN once this occurs. 

Any native card command results in PCB 0xF2 followed by RC 0x01   ( 0xF2 0x01 ) 

Cards operate mostly okay other than this, as long as you don't run 0xFC of course. 

btw: system is a TI micro driving a 663 frontend.

regarding part number i can't give answer...

Tools: cc1310, clrc633, code composer studio and card desfire ev1

Can this problem be due to the part number?
