In 1993, Phillips pioneered the Domestic Digital Buss, aka D2B and BS EN 61030:1993. The later evolution is MOST; both busses are Optical (with a TP option).
I'm attempting to construct an interface for this legassy buss, but have so far failed in finding anything by way of silicon, both from NXP and others (bar the MSM6307 from OKI, which is both copper - useless in my case, and End of Life. Datasheet attached), let alone any useful information to construct such silicon from discrete components or an FPGA implementation.
Any ideas?
