Math library for MCF5329

We seem to be having speed problems doing floating point math on the MCF5329 using the Microtec compiler (Mentor Graphics Edge IDE).  Is there a free math library with source code provided by Freescale that I can compile with my code-base to compare performance?

Thanks,

Rod

Hi Rod,

I'm sorry, I can't help you with a free math lib. But I read that you are using EDGE IDE. Do you have problems with the development under EDGE, too? Maybe we can talk about EDGE? Do you know a good place where to discuss things about EDGE?

Thanks,

Dirk

Dirk,

Don't get me started on Edge.  I notice that Mentor Graphics doesn't have a community set up on their forum to discuss edge.  Gee, I wonder why.

Too expensive

Slow loading

Slow debug stepping after a few debug cycles

Memory Leaks

Crashes just as you're getting close to the bug

Variables with unknow values

Variables with incorrect decoding

Intermittenly grayed-out memory window

...

But this probably isn't the place to discuss it.

Happily moving away from Edge,

Rod
