KwikStik does not power up

Just received the Kinetis KwikStik. Following the instruction by plugging the USB cable to the PC and either of the USB ports on the KwikStik, the LCD display does not show any message. This was done without installing any driver on the PC, as I assume to get the demo to work, only power from USB cable is needed. Toggling the onboard power switch did not do anything either. Has anyone encounter the same problem? Is there a test point on the board to verify that the board is receiving power?

TP51 is the +5V coming from the computer.  You will see <5V on this line because of the diode drop.  The TP is located right next to the microSD slot.

If that looks good, next steps would be to verify the voltages out of the regulator.  Pull up the schematic, and start tracing.  Good luck!

TP51 check out ok, as well as power to the MCU. LEDs do light up as well. I was thinking of re-flashing the unit but couldn't find image or source of the default firmware on freescale website. Any suggestion?
