Building CW7.1 projects with CW10 with the same libraries as CW 7.1

We have a legacy project developed with CW 7.1, which requires now some modifications.

As we anyway need a new CW license, I would prefer to use CW10.

Is there a way, to build a CW7.1 project exactly the same in CW10, to avoid changing libraries

and code, which would require complete retesting of our products?

1) You can use the Project Importer in CW v10 to import Classic IDE CW projects. Depending upon what the code uses from the Classic run-time, the import process may go easily or badly.

2) If you're going to be modifying the code, you have already opened to door to the requirement that it be retested. Depending upon your project's resources, it might be a good time to make the leap to CW v10.
