We are releasing a cw10.1 project and we are including it into our software archive. Looking at the workspace there are thousand of history and other miss files. What files are needed to be included in our archive?

Hello

The workspace usually contains the following:

1- Configuration data set through Window > Preferences dialog boxes.

This information is not needed to rebuild the application. But if you want to put them in your CVS to keep your

environment settings, you can use File > Export and select General > Preferences in the Export dialog.

This will generate a file with extension .epf (which is an ASCII text file). This file can then be imported using

        File > Import.

2- If you have defined a launch configuration manually and you did not create it as a shared file, you will have a .launch

file in your workspace .metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.debug.core\.launches directory.

This file will be required if you want to make sure you are using the same configuration later on for debugging.

Note that if you are using the launch configuration created by default, the .launch file is located in the project directory.
