I bought the 

M68DEMO908GB60E, which is MCU, MPU & DSP Development Tools DEMO BOARD MC9S08GB60.


However when I create a project in CODEWARRIOR it ask me to select


 

not sure which one to use, need some help.

Hello and welcome to the fora, Sher.

 

Click the [+] next to HCS08G Family

Then choose MC9S08GB60 and you should be under way

 

The HC part of the part number (in front of the S) was dropped from the number some time ago, but is still often used in family names etc.

I followed you advise however I get the following screen as a result:

 

 

I only received an RS232 cable with this product, do I need to orderP&E hardware?

Hello again,

 

This old board, unlike many of the newer ones does not have a built in BDM adapter.

You will need an external one.

Whether you buy one from the likes of P&E or make one of the open source alternatives is up to you.

I am very new to this subject, from your provided link,  which one I should choose, I checked a few did not see the schematic for building the hardware to connect my board vis USB or RS232 to my pc / Code Warrior::
