Hello!

I have MSC8156ADS board. I never work with it, but i need to connect this board to another board  via AMC connector. Two boards wil interact with a help of SRIO protocol 1x. So I need help, where i should set proper configuration(dip switches, boot programm)? i need to define 4 pins on AMC connector  (TXp TXn RXn RXp) to connect to second board.  I should exactly know which pins should use.

Do you have the MSC8156 Reference Manual and MSC8156 ADS reference manual?

These two documents are crucial for understanding all the items you need to setup.

 

Please refer to Chapter 5 (Reset) of the MSC8156 reference manual and cross reference this with the info in the MSC8156ADS RM.

I have already find this user guide and chapter about reset, but for rapid understanding i asked for help, if i exactly know what to read about, it will be easyer. I am not lazy, I have not much time, you should understand me)
