CW 10.1 for kinetis

Hi

I am new in CW. I decided to migrate from TI DSC(which are unavailable) to the kinetis family.

I already ordered the TWR-K60N512-KIT  from Mouser Electronics, which has a lead time

of 9 weeks. In the meantime I would like to start working and learning the new development enviroment

and the new processor.

I tried several times to download the evaluation version 10.1 of CW, I sent the form to the FAE person

but after 10 days I didn't have any reply. Is it possible to get a download link?

OK, when you said you sent the form, is that the export compliance form, or something else? I can post a link to the CodeWarrior web page with evaluation version download links, but if you are stalled because of the export compliance form, you will not be able to download from there, either.

I live in Greece and I don't think that there is any compliance issue.

I just followed the following link from the evaluation lownload page:

If you are overseas, there is almost always a compliance issue.

In private mail, tell me who the FAE is.

I'm using win 7 and code warrior 10.1 to try and program the kinetis 40 tower board.  First of all, I'm getting an error when trying to go into debug mode, which is the link above.

I'm also wondering if there is some documentation providing a description of steps on how to connect to this board through codewarrior instead of iar systems now that the new release is finished. 

Can't get it to work myself.

Quick and dirty of getting the board to work:

1. Must download P&E Toolkit ( I think this is required)
2. Must use Evaluation 10.1 instead of Special Version (no license file in the special version - bug I think) or copy license.dat into the cw10/MCU folder.  
3. Must Program to Internal RAM P&E OSJTAG  (FLASH does not work)
4. When initially connecting to debug mode:  Error message comes up - to upgrade firmware from 28 to version 29
5. disconnect usb
6. Must connect a jumper on J13 (not provided with kit) (must remove lcd screen to get access to jumper)
7. reconnect usb - wait till firmware is installed
8. disconnect usb
9. disconnect jumper (hang it on one pin or put back where you got it)
10. reconnect usb
11. Voila - should work
