Hi
I'm writing because, I have problem with connect my TWR-MCF51CN with CodeWarrior V.10.0.
I installed CodeWarrior with standard driver and I want run debbug or launch application pop-up me error:

Target request failed: ColdFire GDI Protocol Adapter : Can't connect. The Debugger can not connect to OSBDM.

I don't  know what I doing wrong... MCU is good connected and driver's is good installed.

I attempted different drivers but further isn't work.

Ps. I have OSBDM.

I found the solution: Upgrading the firmware of the board solves the problem. Full instructions on:

http://cache.freescale.com/files/community_files/OSBDM08/OSBDM_ERRATA.pdf?fsrch=1&sr=1

However, be carefull because a bug on the bootloader can only allow one upgrade. Next firmware update must be done with a P&E BDM cable because the bootloader corrupts himself wile doing the upgrade. :smileysad:

Same problem here. I can connect to a TWR-MCF5225x board, but with the same SW & Computer I can't to a TWR-MCF51CN ¿Have you found a solution?

Best regards

Choose Run > Debug Configurations. In the  Debug Configurations window that appears, make sure that your project is highlighted as a CodeWarrior Download, and then click the Debugger Tab. In the Debugger Options area, make sure that you have OSBDM selected as the Connection.

I tried  I selected "OSBDM-JM60 Coldfire V1" in Debug Configurations but still not working. Pop- up this same error:/
With CW6.2 works but with CW10 can't connect.:smileysad:

You might have a driver issue. Are you using the latest release of V10 CodeWarrior? I would suggest filing a service request to get to the source of the problem. Click here to be directed to the Service Request page.
