Hi all

A strange thing!

I have the stack pointer set to $1000, to use the top end of the 4K ram in the 9S08JM60.

The same code runs in the JM32 part, even though it is supposed to have only 2K ram (ending  at $0800) !

Maybe this part has the ram but is not production verified?

Any one know?

Hello,

It is very common in the early months of production for smaller devices to actually have the die from a larger device.

This has been verified as being so on many different models.

Supposedly Freescale only test the quoted amount of memory.

Generally it stops being like this at some indeterminate point.

So enjoy it while you can!
