Yesterday, the code warrior of IDE version 5.9.0 was re-installed after several tries of debugging the core 0 of P2020.

Then, I downloaded the service pack 8.8.3 so that there is support for QorIQ processor.

After installing the code warrior, I unzipped  the PA_8.8.x_P2020_ServicePack_0850.zip to the

C:\Program Files\Freescale\CodeWarrior PA V8.8 which has support of USB-TAP for P2020 processors.

with P2020RDB connected to the USB-TAP,

I pressed debug(F5) on the IDE. I encountered the error given in the screen capture.

I tried a few times but still fail to access the P2020 core 0 and core 1 with the Code Warrior IDE.

Please give me some direction of how I should approach the problem.

Based on the advice from online Freescale TechnicaI Support,

I no longer see the problem of CCSProtocolPlugin:Error writing memory [SAP: write over-flow] after installing the service pack 1 from CodeWarrior Development Tools->CodeWarrior Downloads->Updates and Patches->CodeWarrior for Power Architecture Technology Updates for CodeWarrior for Power Architectures (Netcomm) v8.7-8.8->CodeWarrior Power Architecture 8.8 Service Pack 1 for P2020, 8572, 8315 & 8569.

The zip file PA_8.8.x_P2020_ServicePack_0850.zip I talked about in my previous post was found in p2020 3rd linux DVD.

Just in case some users may not be able to read attachement.

I shall write down the error message given by the debugger

CCSProtocolPlugin:Error writing memory

[SAP: write over-flow]

Has anybody encountered this error before?

Need help and advice here.
