MC56F8006Demo Stuck

My MC56F8006DEMO is having problems.  When I connect it to power several of the LEDs come on, then all of them turn off except LED4, which just blinks.  When I connect my USB TAP to it then the "Run/Pause" LED comes on and stays on.  If I try and burn something to it via the USB TAP I get an error that says "CSS Protocol Plugin: Unknown Protocol Error".  Did I somehow brick my MC56F8006DEMO?  Is there a way to get it going again.  The code on the board right now shouldn't be causing any LEDs to blink.

Thanks

I also have same problem "CSS Protocol Plugging: Unknown Protocol Error" when using MC56F8006DEMO kit either with parallel port  JTAG or USB TAP adapters, but problem does not appear when I use MC56F8013DEMO kit:

This lead me to think the problem is something related to MC56F8006DEMO kit or MCU, but I can't find some app note about this issue.

¿What should I do to put this demo kit to work properly again?

So the tools work with one board and not the other? Please file a service request on that. Click here to do that.

Figured it out, I enabled "Wait for device to power up at connect".  When I program the board it pauses while it's waiting for power up then I'll unplug my board then plug it back in and it is able to program the board.  After that though, when I'm running the LED example it stops on the T1_Interrupt every time (there's no breakpoint there).  If I hit reset the program runs normally.  Still looking into it . . .
