Hi all,

 

May sound an easy question to some of you, but I am just wondering if it is possible to have more than 1 physical CAN bus on the same MCU, let's say the S12XS256. I think there are 5 CAN TX/RX port on the S12XS256, but I just don't know how to control all 5 separated physical CAN buses from the same main program of the single S12XS256 MCU. I tried to search for those info on the web but failed to find anything useful. Thanks!!!:smileywink:

As long as your MSCAN driver is re-entrant, you can have as many CAN busses as the chip supports.
