Please help,

I have just installed "CodeWarrior for ColdFire V6.3" and when I hit F7 I get the following linker message:

Can't write application "boot_loader.elf".

An unknown error occurred when linking target "boot_loader" for project "mqx.mcp".

Any ideas? I am told that the project that I am trying to build can be built on other computers.

Thank you!

What's the operating system version, and are you running 32-bit or 64-bit mode? Also, if everything else has been running smoothly, are you sure you have enough disk space left over, or are you trying to write to directory that you have no user rights to access?

Master,

Thank you for your reply and I apologize if I wasted any of your time. It seems that the project that I was given, in fact, did not build on other build machines. I can successfully compile and link now.

Thank you!

It is my job to help solve problems, so no time was wasted. By the way, what was causing the build problem?

Well, that was an older project that I was testing, so I moved to the latest project and it worked fine. So, I didn't spend any more time on trying to resolve the old projects issue.

Thanks~
