 Hi,

I have posted in another section of the forums, though I am not sure it is the correct area:

http://forums.freescale.com/freescale/board/message?board.id=CFCOMM&thread.id=8024

We are using MRAM on the 52259evb and really need to work out how we get .bss to be treated the same as .data for the S19 so it programs the value in MRAM when set as 0.

Logically I can see various solutions, however, its making the application development far more complicated (due to backward / forward compatibiliy for remote firmware updating, data initilizing etc).

If we could just force varbiles to be created as .data instead of .bss all our problems would be solved.

PS Codewarrior 7.1.2 build 11
