Hello All,

I have been trying to install the Linux Board support package for the MPC 8313 ERDB board.

I have successfully completed the installation of the Board support package. The issue now i am facing is in regard to the ltib installation. When i run "./ltib" from the ltib directory i get the following message in the command window.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Installation complete, your ltib installation has been placed in
/MPCLTIB/ltib-mpc8313erdb-20070824, to complete the installation:

cd /MPCLTIB/ltib-mpc8313erdb-20070824
./ltib

[ltib@localhost 8313e_070831]$ cd /MPCLTIB/ltib-mpc8313erdb-20070824
[ltib@localhost ltib-mpc8313erdb-20070824]$ ./ltib

Don't have LWP::UserAgent
Cannot test proxies, or remote file availability without both

I ran the command: sudo -S -l which returned:

We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System
Administrator. It usually boils down to these three things:

#1) Respect the privacy of others.
    #2) Think before you type.
#3) With great power comes great responsibility.

[sudo] password for ltib:

This means you don't have sudo permission to execute rpm commands as root
without a password.  This is needed for this build script to operate correctly.

To configure this, as root using the command "/usr/sbin/visudo",
and add the following line in the User privilege section:

ltib ALL = NOPASSWD: /bin/rpm, /opt/freescale/ltib/usr/bin/rpm

Started: Wed Jul 29 16:18:31 2009

Elapsed: 3 seconds

Build Failed

Exiting on error or interrupt
[ltib@localhost ltib-mpc8313erdb-20070824]$

From the above information the following steps were followed and the "./ltib" was issued.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To configure this, as root using the command "/usr/sbin/visudo",
and add the following line in the User privilege section:

ltib ALL = NOPASSWD: /bin/rpm, /opt/freescale/ltib/usr/bin/rpm
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now the installiation was started and ran for about 3 minutes, before prompting the following error

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

sudo rpm --dbpath /tmp/rpm-ltib/rpmdb -e --allmatches --nodeps rpm-fs 2>/dev/null

From the above error information, please help me what steps to be followed in order to run the ./ltib command successfuly. I am totally confused as the error information seems to be bit weird.

Thanks in advance.
