When connecting to my target using USB TAP, if the target power is missing then CodeWarrier reports a problem but seems to 'hang' after that.
I have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete to kill CodeWarrier.
So, what, that's a problem?
Try this: look for the dark-grey "CodeWarrior Connection Server" icon in your Windows Tooltray. This icon appears whenever the debugger is started. When you get a lockup, try right-clicking the CCS icon to close it. Kill it if you have to. This may save your CodeWarrior IDE.
You're right, though, this shouldn't be happening. I think we need a Service Request to formally address the issue. When you create it, please add two things:
- In your USB TAP configuration panel there's an "Enable logging" feature. Turn that on, start the debugger, capture the Log window's contents and send that in.
- In the CodeWarrior IDE select Help->About->Installed Products->Save As and include the resulting text file.
I hope this helps.
I'll try that, and I'll also post a service request with the log.
