Using Codewarrior in a Virtual Environment

Hi.

I'm using CW using Parallels (is similair to VMWARE, it allows you to run XP on OS X). After a few glitches CW is working fine but I can't program my devices using the ML-12 (USB Multilink). It connects to the device (it even did an upgrade of the firmware) but it 'loses' connection when I debug / flash the micro-controller. Running it from my laptop with 'native' XP works fine.

Any one of you guys usingf CW and ML in a virtual environment ? Tips / Clues .....

Cheers, Willem.

Hi Willem

Did you manage to fix your issues with CW in Parallels?  I'm thinking of trying the same thing soon...

Thanks!

Richard

Hi Richard,

I left Parallels and moved to VMWARE fushion (2.0.6) on Leopard this is working flawlessly on my iMac. I suggest you download a trial of either version and see if it works for you (or not)

Cheers, Willem.

We use VMware for all our stuff with codewarrior and have no real problems.

Good luck.
