Hi,

We are developing custom board with IMXRT101x uC. Can we connect 8MB(8-pin SOIC) flash and 8MB(8-pin SOIC) PSRAM(ESPRAM or IPUS PSRAM) to FlexSPI portA[0:3] and port portB[3:0] respectively? We want access both the interface together.

if yes, How PSRAM will be access and what is base address of PSRAM?

Regards,

Bharat

Hi Bharat,

Is not possible to connect two different types of memories to the same FlexSPI interface. If your application needs an external RAM then I would suggest you migrate to the RT1020. The RT1020 besides the FlexSPI interface it has an interface called SEMC (Smart External Memory Controller) which supports external RAM memories.

Have a great day,

Victor
