How to "disconnect" one port of the PCA9698?

Hello,

For some reasons, one port of the PCA9698 is connected to the analog output of a sensor. I know, this is not the optimal situation.

Is this situaton disturbing for the PCA9698? If yes, how can I programmatically (with internal register of the PCA9698) "disconnect" this port to not disturb the PCA9698? declare it as output ports with open-drain? any alternative solution?

thank you for your responses

regards,
Michel

OK,You can send the pin of PCA9698 which connected with sensor as input configuration.

The sensor use an unique bidirectional pin. Depending on the sensor configuration, that pin can either: output analog signal, output or input binary signal (HIGH or LOW) or input PWM signal.

So when the sensor is configured as analog output, do you think it would disturb the PCA9698? How to avoid it?

Do you want to take the sensor analog output as input of PCA9698?

yes, but the sensor analog output is also connected to the ADC pin of the microcontroller to do ADC conversion.

HI

What's your purpose to connect the IO pin to output of sensor?
