Forum question - normal sort order

Is it possible to make this forum sort like all other forums so that posts are sorted by recent activity, not original post date. I find the default sort order very unhelpful.

i.e. I want the newest replies to be at the top. Presently if I reply to an old post it will still be on page 2/3 of the listing.

I looked at the options within my profile, but I wasn't able to find one that worked.

regards

James

Hello

This can be set under "My Profile" and then on the Preferences tab.

As I said, I already looked there and believe I have it set "right" but the sort order is still useless.

So, please tell me what exact settings I need.

Without me changing anything, suddenly it works how I want it to.

I guess someone changed my settings for me. If they did, then thanks. If not, it must be magic!

No, it wasn't magic. Others, including myself, have expressed interest in having the most recently modified postings (irregardless of their original post date) appear first in the list. I have talked to the great forum mage and made the appropriate sacrifices and kowtowing, and in response he has made it so for all of the forums. :smileyhappy:

However, the personal preferences pointed out by Crasycat ought to work if you do not like the current presentation. HTH.
