I read jn-an-1242,May I ask how to use CMET in pairs?
Hi Daniel, I hope you're doing well!
To use the CMET Application Note in pairs, two K32W devices must be programmed with this firmware, and then, one of the devices should be configured in the Transmit Packets Test Mode, while the other device should be configured in one of the Receive Packets modes, like the Generic Receive Packets Test, the LQI Test, or the RX-to-TX Turnaround Test.
Most of the Tests require at least two devices to work, one in Transmit, and one in Receive mode.
Please let me know if you need specific information about one of the test modes.
What I want to know is how to use (a) ~ (m) items in pairs?
Example: (a) as TX corresponds to (c) as RX？
Please provide other options that can be combined with each other?
a,b --> cd --> ? f --> ?g --> ?h --> ?i --> ?j --> ?k --> ?l --> ?m --> ?
There is no explanation in the document( JN-AN-1242) about how to combine the two options.
The descriptions for each of the Test Modes in the CMET document contain information on the mode they'll be setting the device to, like for example the Receive Packets Test:
Or the LQI test:
The combinations have to be done with a transmitter and a receiver mode, while some of the other modes like the Connectionless Packet Error Rate Test need both devices to be configured in the same test mode, but as a Slave or Master:
Please let me know if you need any more information.
Take care, best regards,
I have studied the content you mentioned before, but I still don’t know how to choose these two functions to achieve these functions.
The content does not provide what to do. For example: KW41 has a very detailed description.
This is my first contact with CMET (different from KW41 GenFSK), so I am not familiar with it, so please give me some guidance.
Could you please take a look at chapter 3 of the following application note?:
K32W RF system evaluation report for Bluetooth LE and 802.15.4 applications
It provides a more in-depth explanation of the test modes for this device.
