I have to interface with an I2C device that uses 5V levels.
The SC18IM700 is not interpretting the acknolegment as its Vil = 0.3 * Vdd. Can i operate the SC18IM700 from 5V?

Hi Graeme,
The operating VDD is 2.4V to 3.6V. You would need a level shifter to interface the device to a 5V I2C master. Or, the pull up the I2C bus to 3.3V instead of 5V.
