Hi,

Yes, the MC56F83000-EVK supports P&E device, but it does not support USBTAP device. Pls refer to the link:

Multilink | Debug Probe | PEmicro 

You can just  connect a USB cable to the board and debug the board because there is OSJTAG device on the board based on JM60 micro-controller. But you can use the Multilink Universal device from PE to debug the board.
