OM13085 working with 5Vdc modules

Hi dear, I have an OM13085 emulation board. I know it internally works on 3.3Vdc, even if supplyed with 5Vdc.

Does it support direct connection with other modules that works on TTL level (0 to 5Vdc) ?

Best regards,

Rafael Bastos

Hello, rafaelbastos

Yes, almost all input pins support up to +5.5v. Please consult which pins have the footnotes for that indicate this characteristic in Table 5. Pin description.

On the other hand, please note that the output voltage on the pins cannot be greater than the VDD supply voltage.

And the maximum VDD voltage is 4.6V.  As you could check the   Table 6. Limiting values.

If you desire to have a 5.0 V output you can use a voltage level translator.

Have a great day,

Diego
