Does Windows IOT core only work with the LPD4 version of IMX M8 Mini

Does anyone know if Windows IOT core only works with the LPD4 version of the IMXM8 mini development kit? If so is there a way to get it to work with the DDR4 version, I assume the only difference is the voltage for the ram(but I'm not sure). Any insight would be great, I've already released a version of a board to be assembled with the DDR4 ram.

According to the release notes( i.MX Windows 10 IoT Release Notes )
• i.MX 8M Mini supports one 32-bit LPDDR4 channel @ 1500 MHz and 50 MHz.

So knowing that, is there a way to change the setup so that it can run on DDR4 ram?
