Hi all;

I am ussing a MPC8659 microcontroller with a 400MHz platform clock (CCB). I am trying to obtain 100KHz in I2C2 SCL apliying FDR=0X2F (2048) in I2CFDR (400MHz/2/2048 = 97656Hz) yet the SCL line have 190KHz. I am ussing security full rate mode yet I can read in MCP8569ERM.pdf that it doesn't affect in I2C2.

Can you help me please? Does anyone know hot to do it right?

Best regards. Daniel.

The I2C IP is actually a dual I2C and it gets single IP clock, so both I2C controllers behave the same from the rate perspective.
There is an issue with the RM.
