Can't find autologin service in i.MX Rocko

My Linux L4.9.88_2.0.0 Rocko boots automatically to root user. I'm trying to make it boot to another user that I created for security reasons. My understanding is that I need to find some autologin service configuration file, but I were not able to find anything similar on the system. My question is, whether there is such option of configuration, or is the default username embedded into some binary at yocto image build time?

The getty autologin argument doesn't seem to be working, as I'm booting directly to X11 desktop. Any more info on that? Sorry, I should have specified that I'm trying to use desktop in the original question.
