S08QE32 load capacitors

I'm about to try the QE32 with external 32kHz crystal RANGE=HGO=0.

The datasheet says that the load capacitors and series resistor are incorporated, but I can't find any recommendations for the crystals load capacitance.

Common 32kHz crystals have load capacitance 6-12pF.

Which load capacitance is best?

Hello and welcome to the fora mlun,

As an example the DEMOQE board's schematic shows 22pF caps on xtal.

On my board there are no caps fitted, No Rf and Rs is zero ohms.

The manual does say in several places that this is correct for low range/low power mode.

Have not actually run external oscillator myself.
