ls1043a using a 4.19 kernel with an uboot that uses PPA?

Hello all,

We would like to use a newer bsp (like the freescale community bsp zeus edition) with the newer 4.19 kernel.

Since we already have devices deployed with the uboot and PPA installed on the boards, we would like to use the latest kernel but still be using the old PPA and uboot code on these devices.

Is this possible and is the log I have now indicating the issue with the PPA code?

It seems only the 1 cpu will start and the GIC cpu mask is not found, I assume this is because of the security software not loaded?

Greetings,

Steven Vanden Branden

I managed to solve the issues myself by using the original dts (and dtsi) files for the new kernel. Do i miss out on any fixes with regard to the buffers with the old dts files?

It seems it is able to boot but the pca9553x driver is now segfaulting.

Would you please diff the old and new dts files and provide the difference?
