Hi,

In this 70W design,  the inductor is SRP8040, now we have a 600 watt EWP design, if  S912ZVML is capable to drive the motor? and if yes, could you please suggest a suitable power inductor?

Best regards & thank you.

Vincent

Hi,

which 70W design you direct to? Is it our design from any app note or you mean your own from attached file?

Our motor control AN are designed for some specific MOSFET device which defines total power. The mosfet is designed to be able to manage 12V supply voltage and some power losses. The power loses determine the current and selection of the device. (Simplifying selection of the device can be made if you consider switching and conduction losses to be the same. Conduction loses are defined by load we want to supply.  For example 120W 12V DC motor =>12A....plus 12A switching losses = 24A MOSFET...of course good to add some safety region if required).

In the design you attached  see the only inductor in a BUCK converter which produces VPower. This inductor depends on your design.

If you mean another inductor please direct me to it.

Best regards,

Ladislav
