I see numerous posts and links to MCUXpresso SDK 2.7 but when I go to the dashboard to create an SDK for my new EVK-MIMXRT1010 I only see options for SDK 2.6.

Yes, EVK-MIMXRT1010 supports SDK v2.6 not for the SDK V2.7 so far. Sorry for the inconvenience may cause.
