Hi,

I have to describe uP MPC5744P.
"Not Safety related faults" should be considered in the final FMEDA?

The ISO 26262 says that the total lambda are given by: (SPF + RF) + MPF + SAFE

It never mentions NSR.

What is the method?

Thanks

Hi Davide

I could not understand your question. Can you please be more specific and provide reference to the exact section in the FMEDA which is relevant for the above query?

Hi Davide

I did not hear back from you. Let me try to answer anyway.

The failures of non safety related HW element are not considered in safety analysis. You may refer Appendix B of ISO26262-5:2018 for the same.

Hope this helps,

Regards
