Hello,

Sorry for the inconvenience this might cause you, but no, the UID is not available for the user to be modified. These bytes are programmed and write protected during production.

Each NTAG I2C plus UID is signed with an NXP private key and the resulting 32-byte signature is stored in a hidden part of the NTAG I2C plus memory during IC production.

Dear Estephania,

I'm developing a new project with NT3H_2211, the customer requirement ist to program 6 byte UID (Block 0x00, Bytes 1 to 6 with 0x00). I can change Addr but not UID (by I2C Interface). In Data Sheet page 21, Access conditions are read & write. But for me it seems UID 6 bytes are locked?

Is it possible to change it by I2C, in case of yes, what do I have to do?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards, Karl
