Boot Problem with Yocto Sumo on i.MX6

Hello,

 

    I'm trying to boot Yocto (2.7) Sumo on a i.MX6 Wandboard Quad (rev d1). It seems to almost work, except at the last step, I get this kernel panic, which I think indicates that the filesystem is not mounted or perhaps is the wrong partition:

            Kernel panic - not syncing: No working init found. 

 

I built this image according to the instructions in the i.MX_Yocto_Project_User's_Guide, as follows:

    mkdir imx-yocto-bsp
    cd imx-yocto-bsp
    repo init -u https://source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/imx-manifest -b imx-linux-sumo -m imx-4.14.98-2.0.0_ga.xml
    repo sync

 

    DISTRO=fsl-imx-fb MACHINE=wandboard source fsl-setup-release.sh -b build-fb
    bitbake fsl-image-machine-test

 

Note that I did have to change the bootloader_imx name from "u-boot-imx" to "u-boot-fslc" to work on the Wandboard.

I have pasted the entire boot sequence below.

 

I would appreciate any guidance to resolve this issue.  I will also assist the FSL Community BSP for Wandboard support.
