Hello, I'd like to know if is possible to use MT29F8G08ABACAWP-IT with P1020/P1011?
If yes, how can I add support for that in u-boot and Linux kernel based on SDK 2.0.
Thanks
Leandro Schmitz
I found the IS34ML04G081-TLI, it is a 4G bit memory; page size of 2048+64 with ECC of 1bit.
I appraciate if you could check if that is OK to use with P1020/P1011.
And how may I add support for that in u-boot and linux SDK 2.0
Thanks
Leandro
Having page size of 2048+64 with ECC of 1bit is OK for the eLBC FCM.
Concerning software support it is needed to check that K9F5608U0D and IS34ML04G081-TLI have the same command set.

This is not possible.
The eLBC NAND controller of the P1020/11 is compatible with small (512 + 16 bytes) and large (2048 + 64 bytes) page parallel NAND Flash EEPROMs, while the MT29F8G08ABACAWP-IT has (4096 + 224 bytes) page.
I found F59L4G81A and MT29F4G08ABADAWP-IT with 4Gbit in 2048 + 64 bytes page.
Is possible to use some of than with P1020/P1011?
Another important parameter to check is the minimum required ECC capability.
The eLBC NAND FCM is capable to correct only 1-bit error in a 512-byte block of main region data.
F59L4G81A
ECC Requirement: 4bit/512Byte
MT29F4G08ABADAWP-IT
Minimum required ECC: 4-bit ECC per 528 bytes
P1020RDB-PD use MT29F1G08ABAEAWP:E, it needs 1-bit ECC for the first block and 4-bit/528Bytes for others.
I'd like to know if there is any way to P1020/P1011 work with 4-bit ECC, because there are few options of nand memories witch work with 1-bit ECC.
Tks
The P1020RDB-PD BOM is in error concerning the NAND device.
The MT29F1G08ABAEAWP:E is not supported by the eLBC FCM.
On the P1020RDB-PC the K9F5608U0D was used.
