MCU Settings not saved in Build Configuration

I am working on some projects that will need to run on a couple of different (pin compatible) MCUs. I plan to have a build configuration for each of the MCUs. However, the MCU selection in the Properties -> C/C++ Build -> MCU Settings does not seem to change with the build configuration for some reason even though it changes the .cproject.

How can I link this MCU setting to the Build Configuration?

I am currently on 10.1.1

The CDT Build Configuration Settings apply to the setting pages which have that 'Configuration' item added on top, for example here:

I think you are talking about the 'MCU settings' page? This one does not have that, so the settings are applied to the whole project, not to a build configuration. So currently this is not possible that way, but I think that would be reasonable. I will pass this to the engineering team for consideration.

Thanks for that input!
