Hi

I am uing HC08LK family.

Now my code size exceeds the 24K Flash.

Is there any rplacment with more flash size 32K or 64K.

I am looking for the replacemnt micro which requires the least changes in my source code and HW design

Best Regards

Hello Hossam,

If the HC908LK24 device was originally chosen because of its LCD drive capability, you might wish to examine the datasheet for the more recent HCS08LC60.  This is a member of the newer HCS08 family.

I have not compared the two pinouts, but I suspect that it will be quite unlikely that they are similar to each other.

With regard to coding, that associated with all on-chip peripherals will certainly need to be modified, to be consistent with the register naming, and for compatibility with the operation details of each peripheral.

Mac

Hello Hossam,

I am unfamiliar with the application notes that may pertain to the 'LC60.  However, if you examine the products section of the Freescale website, you can drill down to the webpage containing specific information about the 'LC60 device.  Here you will generally find a list of all the application notes that pertain to that product, and can download the documents from that webpage.

Regards,

Mac
