Hi All,

As I followed NXP user guide document to prepare the setup for Android 9.0 using IMX6Q-SABRESD board.

I downloaded source, compiled and created the images.

Using SD-Card, I tried to flash and bring up the board. I getting below errors.,

Please help me to resolve the issues on fstab mounting.

Hi, Thanaraj Subramani

Have you tried to flash the prebuilt images of Android 9.0 for i.MX6q SABRESD from this link?

Are you facing the issue with prebuilt images as well?

Regards,

Shivani

Yes I have tried. its not at all booting, throwing "Please reset the board error".

FYI, I am using Sd card for flashing and booting image not emmc.

Note: Given link is not working to download the image.

Please provide me information to compile AOSP 9.0 for SD CARD boot.

Thanks

Hello,

Are you downloading the demo images with UUU or with the fsl-sdcard-partition.sh script?

Best regards,

Diego.

Hi Diego,

I am using fsl-sdcard-partition.sh script to flash the image into sdcard.

Also please provide if you have any specific command to compile AOSP 9.0 for SD Card Device (not emmc)

Thanks

Hello,

On the newer Android versions, there is no need to make the SD the target build.

However, you can make it with the below commands.

  1. Fist, remove /out/target/product/<your product>/root directory and boot*.img.
  2. Finally, build the boot.img and recovery.img as follows:

         make bootimage BUILD_TARGET_DEVICE=sd

Hope this could help you.

Best regards,

Diego.
