On my IMX31 board , the Nor flash (reference S29WS512P0SBFW000 by Spansion) do not run in burst mode. actually the transfert speed (2mB/s) is very low.
please send me burst parameter for uboot (bootloader)
We have already read §18 of User's Manuals IMX31
and we had tested many setup for bust Nor Flash.
But never the timing check by burst mode (view with oscilloscope)
and the tranfer speed < 2mo/s

This Application Note is very interesting for new design.
But the Spansion Nor Flash GL run in page mode and not in burst mode.
also GL and WS spansion NOR flash is not compatible pin to pin.
In actually design the nor fhash is S29WS512P0SBAW
Please contact your local FAE, he will help you.
And read the reference menu retaily.
