Evaluate Sensorless FOC on Dev board # MTRCKTSPS5744P

I have the MTRCKTSPS5744P Dev board. It come with a motor and a resolver for position feedback.


Example code provided uses the resolver for the position feedback and I was able to spin the motor with it.


My questions is how to evaluate sensorless FOC with this setup (using the same motor and eval board)?

  1. Does the source code support sensor less operation? (HW seem to have phase voltage and current feedback)
  2. Is it a matter of setup using MCAT to change the default configuration?
  3. If so, how to change MCAT? I cannot seem select sensor less option in MCAT?
