i.MX8M MIPI-DSI Spread Spectrum

Hi,

we need to spread MIPI-DSI clock but from Reference Manual it is not possible to enable the Spread Spectrum for video_pll1_out.

We tried to reparent and change the root clock and Spread them but we didn't have success.

Have you some idea about this?

Hi Marco

seems you are right: MIPI-DSI Spread Spectrum is not supported.

In general one can try to experiment with external clocks, like

MIPI_DSI_PHY_REF_CLK_ROOT & "EXT_CLK_2" described in
Table 5-1. Clock Root Table i.MX8M Reference Manual and  
CCM_ANALOG_VIDEO_PLL1_CFG0 with reference clock "CLK_P_N".
